May Training Schedule

SUU Online offers training on the following topics: instructional design, Canvas tools, online course development & design, etc. We typically offer weekly training.

All workshops are held on Tuesday at 2:00 pm in the Bennion Building third-floor conference room. (BB304H)

Note: We recommend you bring your own laptop or device for participation or note-taking.

5/9/17: Discussion Boards: a 21st-Century Skill

If you are only using discussion boards to replace a classroom discussion you are missing out on the powerhouse tool to teach students a 21st-century skill. (Global business interactions, web conferencing, networking, writing a book, writing a musical score). Facilitated by Jennifer Hunter

5/16/17 Did You Know Canvas Can…?

Want to learn about time-saving and stress-reducing Canvas commands? Then this is the workshop for you. Here’s example - if you put EX in the gradebook it will excuse that assignment for a particular student. Come learn more! Facilitated by Michelle Miller
