Come learn how you can finalize your grades in Canvas. Then when you are ready you can even send your grades from Canvas to Banner and then submit your final grades. Facilitated by Karl Stevens

7/18/17: Imagineering Tricks
Unlock the magic of imagineering tricks for designing, developing, and delivering your online course. Facilitated by Jen Hunter

QM: 8 Course navigation, design, multimedia and tools all facilitate ease of access and use of the course.

7/25/17 Let's Un-Complicate Canvas Are you just starting out with Canvas or need a refresher? We will cover the basics of  how to navigate Canvas and why and how to: use Modules, set up assignments, weigh assignments. Learn about what the most commonly used tools are and how to use them.  Facilitated by Michelle Miller

6/13/17: Quality, Transparency, Inclusiveness: Components of a Great Online CourseStudents expect a great experience when taking an online course at SUU. A "content dump" of face-to-face course materials into an online course falls far short of providing a valued learning experience. Three basic components establish a good foundation for an effective online course: 1) Adhering to Quality Matters online course design standards. 2) Providing students with transparency of purpose, tasks, and criteria for success. 3) Creating an environment of inclusiveness. This workshop correlates to Quality Matters standards 1.2 and 8.4.

With technomage wizardry all course shells created in Canvas will have the ELOs available. Learn how to effectively use this or learn how to remove what you don’t need to use. Presented by Jennifer Hunter

3/14/17: Orientation = Less Questions

Do you have an orientation to your course? An orientation can let students' know where to access materials, build community, etc. This can reduce the questions they have during the semester as they will already know where to go and what to do. Presented by Michelle Miller
